With everything happening in N.O. we won't hear much about it

Damian_Maxcash 09-04-2005 10:55 PM

Shit...ANOTHER Boeing 737!

d00t 09-05-2005 01:13 AM

you'd be a dumbass to fly on a 3rd world airline

adamneve 09-05-2005 01:19 AM

something is in the air - weather, crashes, what next

Mako 09-05-2005 01:21 AM

There are actual odds on these things, something like any African airline is more than 1000x more likey to have a significant issue in flight versus any American/European airline, even with the same aircraft inventory.

As bad as that sounds though, you are still many thousands of times more likely to die in your next car drive to the store or wherever, even if it's a short distance. So we need to keep it in perspective.

One thing I've learned since buying various planes and aircrafts is that they require a very high amount of maintenance.

You can't just say "I can get a few more miles out of these tires" or ignore that funny sound coming from the engine.

Mostly you got to have people who actually know what they are doing maintenance the aircraft and they tend to be expensive.

People who are just learning or have never been that bright may come at a cheaper price but it's not really worth the savings. Usually planes malfunction at bad times and you can't just slide over to the side of the road.

ok.. I don't really have any planes.. but I'm bored as hell.

3AM and have no idea why I made this post :upsidedow

phonesex 09-05-2005 02:17 AM

fuck! Not another airplane.

Wiggles 09-05-2005 05:17 AM

wow time for some major company to take over the airlines and actually improve them.

DutchTeenCash 09-05-2005 05:46 AM

I know airplane mechanics that are scared to death to fly. They told me they are told to patch so much shit up it's not funny. :disgust

Vitasoy 09-05-2005 08:20 AM

Been a lot of them going down the past few months. :(

tranza 09-05-2005 09:01 AM

at least 143 people died in this plane crash

tranza 09-05-2005 09:08 AM

thatīs really weird how it has been happening if you consider crashes in Peru, Venezuela and Greece
