+++ Dreamweaver 8, No Trial or Demo? +++

So how do you know it's better then Dreamweaver MX 2004? Macromedia has just announced the launch of Dreamweaver 8 as part of the Macromedia Studio 8 Suite.

One of the biggest problems with this release is that they are not offering a 30 day trial version like in previous versions. This makes it very hard for potential customers to make a decision reagrding Dreamweaver 8. I believe existing Dreamweaver customers will not be affected by not having a trial available. However new customers may be relectant to buy this product without first testing it.

looked at the tour, doesnt look worlds ahead of 7 but, hard to tell with no trial. i paid for 7, but will have to try 8 on the newsgroups if they cant make a trial available

Btw macromedia was bought by Adobe. Adobe's reputation is on the line. Im positive the products they will put out will be top notch.

I'm not even sure that has even gone thru yet. I seriously doubt adobe has anything to do with this release. I think i'll wait until adobe does a release of a dreamweaver golive combo.
