There is NO GAS where I live...

All of the stations are empty. Good thing I'm almost full, but shit... where is all of the gas? I can't even complain it's expensive :(

Juicy D. Links 09-03-2005 05:49 AM

Tampa area ... I just ran for a Dunkin Donuts coffee... all of the stations in the area have bags over the pump nozzles, and the prices per gallon are removed from the signs out front :(

Thumbler 09-03-2005 06:00 AM

No gas where I live either, we ran out on Thursday

fusionx 09-03-2005 06:30 AM

Charlotte was empty on Thursday, but stations are getting gas on a case by case basis. It can be found, but the lines suck and it's totally hit or miss.

Orgasmics 09-03-2005 06:38 AM

West Ga. is out as well, the panic from a few days ago sure didnt help matters!

DutchTeenCash 09-03-2005 06:44 AM

That is messed up
up here we have hit $1.19+ a liter, unheard of before this.

MikeVega 09-03-2005 07:04 AM

I had to go to 4 gas stations yesterday to find one that had gas ... and it was $3.69 for 87 oct ... I really don't care about the prices but i hope i can even find it

pr0 09-03-2005 09:07 AM

prices are up from 2.89 yesterday to 3.25 today

Luis Mesa 09-03-2005 09:09 AM

you should care about the prices or sooner or later you will be working just to buy gas

OTerror 09-03-2005 09:10 AM

Draychi 09-03-2005 09:12 AM

only in alabama ; )

tgpshack 09-03-2005 09:16 AM

Couple gas stations here have ran out as well. Normally gas stations are in groups but areas where theres only one gas station left with gas have sky rocketed their price a dollar or more a day.

Adam-EB 09-03-2005 09:19 AM

We're a little east of Tampa, plenty of gas still over here. I use regular gas for my Suburban, paying about $3 a gallon, Alysha's car uses 93 octane, and she pays about $3.30.

Prime Minister Paul Martin promised yesterday Canada will provide more energy to the U.S. in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, but with oil production already flat-out, Canadians will have to use less fuel to create the extra supply.

Hope it helps

Fizzgig 09-03-2005 10:38 AM

I wonder how bad this is going to get~

NaughtyRob 09-03-2005 10:43 AM

Wow. So far so good here in Las Vegas.

New Orleans provide 25 % of the US gas ... remove 25 % and you get a major shortage when consomation is already at 97 % of production possiblity.

Same here in Nor Cal... in fact just pumped 25 gallons into my truck a few ago, gotta take the car up in a bit to fill up before the next price jump.

chase 09-03-2005 11:43 AM

My little suburb is out most of the time, too.

My mom bought me some sneakers in Beall's yesterday, and she called me on her cell to tell me a lady she talked to got gas at Cumberland Farms, with very short lines..I jumped in my car and headed straight there, because I only had an eighth of a tank.

I got there, and my mom was there, too, lol. She gave me her gold card to fill my tank because we don't know when it will get back to normal, and she filled her's too. $54 for my 91 T-bird to fillup, at $2.89/gallon.

I've never been one to worry about gas prices..I need it no matter what, so why stress about something I can't change, ya know. But not having it at ALL...that's scary.

wdsguy 09-03-2005 11:48 AM

we ain't running out here in CA.

ShaneRyale 09-03-2005 11:50 AM

There is no gas in my city as well near Panama City.

stevo 09-03-2005 11:52 AM

Barely any gas left in Orlando too... Seems like every BP is empty.

Zebra 09-03-2005 01:25 PM

Plenty of gas in Oklahoma... Just filled up for $3.09 a gallon regular

Sparks 09-03-2005 01:47 PM

That sucks... we have gas here, so I can't complain. It is $2.99 per gallon which is pretty damn good all things considered
