Conspiracy theory about the hurricane
Just had a conversation some nut job on Yahoo messenger. (I've seen made my online status hidden.)
He speculates that the United States Military detonated some sort of thermal device off the gulf coast. Thus causing the water temperatures to rise in order to make the hurricane or make it worse. 1. His reasoning for it is that this would be a form of racial cleansing. 2. That this would give the United States access to the European fuel reserves. 3. And that it would create world sympathy for a failing U.S. economy. A little far fetched about the weapon idea. But I can vision George Bush being very opportunistic right now. |

MOSCOW, Russia (AP) -- Two Russian citizens formerly held at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have been released from custody after investigators found no evidence of their involvement in terrorism-related activity, prosecutors said. maybe weather wars isnt all that "crack pot" style conspiracy as you'd normally think it was |
man cant control weather.. but man can influence it.
that story seems far fetched if not impossible... though a lot of science fiction from the 40's seemed far fetched then and is now reality. fuck eh. |

I was one of the first people to develop almost identical theories. I figured this crap out a day after the Tsunami. Your "nutjob" buddy is probably right.

no.3!
seriously though, bullshit tony |
please tell me your friend was joking.
this "weapon" had to be tested very well. Hypothetically, even if they could achive results of great damage power like katrina had, the problem is with directing this kind of force on target when we don't even have a system (computing power) to make very accurate predictions of weather based on current conditions - way to many variables. You have no way of knowing which way would it go, how long would it spin and the aftermath. Lastly, if all of the above doesn't make much sense, think about this question how the hell do you justify cost of damages against achived results? complete nonsense, imo. |
