Does anyone understand Dadaism??
Just a question? My finance is telling me about it, she makes shit up all the time though. Tell me what you know about it.
|

|

|
Yes maybe see you at Rochards B day party tomorrow? My girlfriend and I are going to be showing up with Brett from Dormbucks who is flying in for the ocassion.
|
yes, they believe everyone should wear DaDa brand shoes is all
|
I don't think I am going to go. Long story, but here are the cliff's notes.
Car broken into, personal info stolen, garage door stolen, don't want to leave my fiance or house alone for atleast a couple o' day. I am sorry dude. And I feel really bad for not going. I was really excited when Barbie sent out word about the party. And now I am stuck here, waiting for some asshole to try and open my garage. I will be waiting in there with a shotgun just to scare his ass. ...been at Casey Moore's so I may be tougher than I actually am at this point LOL. |
OH damn too bad I did not cruise over to Casey Moores. My gf loves that place.

Dadaism is not to be dissected like some Biology class frog.
That is the antithesis of dadaism, which is the freeing of artists to explore different artistic ideas in different artistic forms. Initially it was a chaotic reation to a newly industrialized world gone mad, which was preoccupied with experimenting with new means of death and destruction. It was a scream against the absurdity of war. Art has always been a good harbinger of the times. A shot across the bow of normalcy and complacency. Dadaism helped artists of the early 20th century to express and come to terms with the new world order of the day - just as new artists are trying to find a way to reach today's art savvy public. Your fiance may be simply trying to reach out to you - do not fear what you do not understand. If you appreciate her, try to understand what she is trying to communicate/share with you. She sounds like a keeper to me. ADG Webmaster |

Compare this...

I just think that without Warhol, Fairely wouldn't be nearly what he is.
Anyway. Check out http://www.walkthelinethemovie.com/ Fairely did all the artwork, which I love. |
