I don't know where you got the idea from that I was a Linux man. Yes, I do have a Mac and I love it, will get a dual G5 later this year. OSX rocks, a lot.

The Mighty Mouse works with Windows too, just in case anyone was wondering.

i got that idea from a desktop screenshot you posted long ago, about osx, anything you miss/have to turn to windows for (work related)?

No issues whatsoever. I run a lot of scripts locally, the *nix base of OSX is a big plus. Other than that, I have all the programs I need on the Mac as well, html & picture editing, chat, email, browser, ftp, torrents. Overall, the Mac is just a much more productive platform with less distractions than a Wintel machine. But that's just my opinion, others may think that Macs are gay, and as everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I will accept that as well :thumbsup

macs aren't gay, they're just non standard (think statsremote, submitters, different end user experience when you test sites)

kinda off topic: you can run shell scripts exactly like in linux?

cool mouse.. macs are great but it's a shame there is not more competition in pricing on mac hardware eg more than 1 manufacturer.. as there is with ibm/pc.

Nickless 09-02-2005 09:43 PM

can't wait for legal intel/macosx86

3M TA3 09-02-2005 11:19 PM
