Gas Prices in your area

This is getting out of hand. In Southern NJ gas prices are $3.39 for regular. Post what they are in your area.

Be lucky you can even find gas.

A lot of gas stations here have been sold out for a couple days now.

yeah some here

Linkster 09-02-2005 12:34 PM

Believe me - you wont be worried about the price when you dont have any - we have been totally out for 4 days now - one tanker came in to a nearby gas station on I-20 and it was gone in 2 hours yesterday - but then even if the gas was here you have to have electricity to pump it. Sure wish people would take some of that money theyre wasting on gas to roam around in their SUVs and send it down to the people down here that would just like to have a pair of shoes to walk to where they need to get to get help

Denis_SC 09-02-2005 12:37 PM

$1.34 / L here in Toronto

WebTitan 09-02-2005 12:38 PM

i just paid 3.19 a gallon and when back 5 minutes later to fill up my car and it was 3.50 for fucks sake

Furious_Male 09-02-2005 12:39 PM

I am in WNY and for some odd reason the prices just jumped to 3.89 a gallon. Premium is well over 4 a gallon. I was under the impression most of our gas came from Canada but I could be wrong.

AmateurFlix 09-02-2005 12:40 PM

2.89 Ohio

Fuck I remember when it was 0.89 not very long ago

Jay 09-02-2005 12:43 PM

Smurfette 09-02-2005 12:46 PM

$3.19 for regular here in northern jersey

demented 09-02-2005 05:36 PM

I filled up today for $2.99... People were scrambling to get it at that price. Down the street it was $3.29..

Ecksent 09-02-2005 05:38 PM

It was $1.16/liter last night here. I'm not complaing at all! I haven't been out today, so I have no idea what it went up to over night.

Holly 09-02-2005 05:47 PM

$3.49 here, but the problem right now is that you can't get it. Almost every gas station here has plastic bags on all the pumps because they're all sold out. I'm near the Katrina mess, so that's why (I guess???). That's ridiculously high for this area. It took forever for us to pass the $2 mark and we've always been lots cheaper than the rest of the nation, until now.

woj 09-02-2005 05:48 PM

these daily "prices of gas in your area" threads are getting old...

lakroze 09-02-2005 05:55 PM

1.2 euro here - Eastern Europe

BiggleJones 09-02-2005 05:57 PM

$3.09 for premium here in North Hollywood. For once I'm glad pay Cali gas prices.

Go tell the gas stations to quit raising prices and we'll shut up. Until then you'll have to read more threads like this.

pussyluver 09-02-2005 06:08 PM

EddiePulp 09-02-2005 06:09 PM

VeriSexy 09-02-2005 06:12 PM

Yea, but bitching about it on gfy acomplishes NOTHING at all... What good does seeing a list of "$2.59 $3.19 $3.23 $3.59 etc" do?

steffie 09-02-2005 07:16 PM

2.99 here in the Southwest

About the same thing as seeing "50, 100, 150, 200" over and over again.

Doctor Dre 09-02-2005 09:35 PM

Very expensive ... 1.39 a litre right now ... they are saying it's gonna go up to 1.88. insane

HaHa...Good one, Holly!!! :thumbsup

I paid over $30 for a gas fill-up today at over $3 per gallon (and we don't even rely on oil from the Gulf area). That's B.S. considering that some of the U.S. strategic oil reserves have supposedly been released (much faster than relief came to the people of New Orleans), and international strategic oil releases in the millions of barrels have already been pledged.

I'm guessing that the "reserves" (foreign and domestic) will be replenished at U.S. taxpayer expense at a rate much higher than the reserves cost us. Another example of a government "corporate welfare" program.

Businesses profiting from such suffering should be punished as surely as any looters should.

It takes minutes for gas prices to go up, and weeks for gas prices to go down, under the Bush regime. Does anybody even really wonder why anymore?

What do you think our sons and daughters are really dying for in Iraq? The Iraqi people are no closer to democracy today than they were when we invaded them years ago because of Saddam's non-existent weapons of mass destruction. All we have to show for our efforts is lots of dead Americans and foreign civilians, many or most of which had nothing against the U.S.

I'm sick and tired of all of this. If you are too, then let's hear it.

Otherwise, stay silent and let the right-wing fundraiser bullies keep raising money to destroy our rights and attack our industry until we are as defenseless as the refugees of New Orleans.

Fight back America!!!

Nickless 09-02-2005 09:48 PM

Roughly $0.7 per litre

1 litre = 0.264172051 US gallon

So it's like $2.8 per gallon if my math isn't fucked up.

Ray Nagin 09-02-2005 09:50 PM

carjackers dont pay gas ;) just jack a new one if the tank is empty
