new plasma tv's and burn in
 

do the new current crop of plasma tv's still suffer from the burn in effect?

Not the Panasonic line they have a pixel shifting algo in the chip. The pioneer's may have it too.

my plasma is about a year old (jvc) and it has pixel shift, every few minutes it shifts the image left or right. not sure how much this helps tho....
