I have good insurance, but the medication I take cost $3 dollars a pill that cost them only 4 cents to manufacture. Not to mention the old and poor that either eat or feel well. Drug companies are as bad as big tobacco if not worse.

That's a good question. R&D trickles down not up. Why does a pill that cost $3 in the US cost 75 cents in Canada from the SAME company? (The question is rhetorical) I love this country, but the bureaucracy never ceases to amaze me.

Tell me, Why do they have to market a pill when they own the patent on it and there is no competition? Won't a doctor prescribe the best pill for the ailment?
