KRL - An idea for Air Katrina

Sin has a good idea in this thread that would require a pilot in New Orleans.

Have it read something like "Have Hope, The World is Watching, Help is on the way" or something maybe a bit shorter... but along those lines?????

Its one way to get a big message out to a large group of people who have no way of watching the news like all the rest of us do.... :(

Do you think they could make the hook-up?

It could be done and it's actually cheap as hell. Not sure if the airspace is restricted though.

Remember the banners flying over the first Big Brother house? I looked into that shit and it was ridiculously cheap, like under a couple of grand.

If you know more pilots who will volunteer to fly supplies or do medevac runs, there is a contact link on the site.

Now that the US military finally arrived and brought in a load of choppers and medevac units, it looks like the last of the truly critical children and elderly have all been evacuated.
