Bush could have learned a lesson from Guilani's 9/11 performance

Imagine how powerful an image it would be if they choppered Bush to the Superdome and dropped him off there with a Secret Service detail and a good amount of airlifted rations to play hero? Have him stay a while outside, talking to people etc, showing up on all the media outlets wading through the shitty water.

It's not necessary due to him not being able to run for a third term of course, hence he's not there, but I think I would have liked that to be my legacy as a former President. Call me fucked for Iraq, it's my opinion versus yours there, but I was at the Superdome kneedeep in the shit, doing my best. That's what I'd want my legacy to be.

Guliani was effectively given Sainthood by the voting public on both sides of the aisle because he seemed to embrace the carnage and aftermath that was ground zero on a personal level. Whatever his motivations were, either heartfelt or calculated or both, it worked...but no one studies.

Now back to reality. Buy my porn. Thanks. :winkwink:

Guliani was a leader. Bush is just led.

absolutely agree - but also its not really surprising how he's acted in this so far :(

He should have learned from himself too. At 9/11 he just sat there looking stupid and read children books.

Shit, I'm glad I never was under command of that kind of officers.

Maybe they could dangle him under a helicopter by a big rope and he could praise Jesus on a megaphone.
