Today i recieved an email from a sponsor that i havent sent a good deal of traffic to or made any sales with in months that stated i was banned from their program. This completely confused me as i have not been too active with them in such a long time, and the majority of traffic i did send to them was from paid spots... nothing i could think of against the TOS. I replied to the email and recieved a notice of fraud activities and that any other information in my banning would be withheld from me. I then contacted a rep who said that an account had been neglecting the terms of service from some of the same ips i log in with. ok so needless to say i found this policy to be complete crap since the three places i commonly use a computer at all have shared ips and i have been using dial up this week due to switching my dsl service and the ip is always changing with it.
has anyone ever experienced a problem like this? sponsors do you ever ban someone for activities without speaking to them first or investigating it?
