hey SUV owners

I bet you're wishing you didnt buy that gas guzzling whore now with the increasing gas prices..

hydro 09-01-2005 04:05 PM

no not really, when i bough mine i was expecting $4 a gallon and was more than willing to pay that price. At $6 a gallon i'd probably switch to a sedan

Mako 09-01-2005 04:09 PM

Nope. I make enough to where gas prices are largely irrelevant. They could double for all I care. Plus most webmasters work at home, or close to their offices, and only burn through a couple tanks a month, if that.

The other two posters have spoken well for me. I feel the same as they do. I have an SUV and a big 4x4 supercab. Not sweatin' it.

Mr Dickovitch 09-01-2005 04:17 PM

Oh God no! Now I must pay an extra $1,000 per year, nooooo oh wait I don't give a shit.

I love these idiots who trade in their SUV for a small car and lose $5,000 and think they are saving money.

:1orglaugh

I will NEVER not own another SUV. I hate driving cars now. I'd rather drive less than not have one.

I'm shopping for a new car, Peaches....my sis loves her SUV...but, damn it....don't you pay more for insurance, so you can sit high above us sedan drivers...and when you're parked or in front of me...I can't see a damned thing....

Bad enough I'm short....grumble, grumble... :winkwink:

No way I can afford to drive my SUV and could care less if the prize is high.

I could probably blame US/Bush for the high price of gas in canada, but I won't cause I just don't care.

And living where you do, it is kind of a necessity too, I would think.

I am not going to give mine up either although I will be walking and riding my bike to the mini mart to pick up the occassional item.

It's the best car ever for us shorties :)

And actually my insurance went DOWN because it fares better in an accident. I went from a Maxima to a Pathfinder and it went down, then from the Pathy to the Exploder and it went down again.

I'm getting another Pathy or a 4Runner next though so it will probably go back up from what I'm paying now, but it's worth it. :)

My 4.4 X5 gets about 15 mpg. If I drive 15,000 miles a year thats a 1,000 gallons per year. If gas prices go up $1 or $2, I don't think I will give a shit. 80 bucks more a month, big woooppppppp.
