"hip hop" is no longer "hip hop" it is mostly dance mainstream music, you have to dig for any good artists, once someone has a hit album they change there style just to sell records.

i am really looking forward to the new mobb deep album, they are always good.

just like in any music it has its up and down times depending on which artists are running the game at the time. but hip hop will never die, its 1 big movement that is more than just the music.

You never know with music. When rap and then hip hop first started I figured a couple years at best. That was back in the late '80's and its still here.
