I really think Hip Hop is running out of things to do and say.

there is a song about shacking your laffytaffy and ladylumps :1orglaugh

I like hip hop but I think its going to die soon :2 cents:

and Gangster rap is getting old

Ice 09-01-2005 03:22 PM

J$tyle$ 09-01-2005 03:23 PM

That new guy is pretty sharp, what's his name...West? Kayne West?

Good stuff from the little I've heard.

Tired of the mindless ghetto lyrics in the genre, it needs to expand. It's like John Singleton making "Boys In the Hood 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7" lol. Move on. Yes we know you "lived it". Great. One album about it is enough, expand your horizons, christ.

Veterans Day 09-01-2005 03:26 PM

its going to dwindle slow but surely

Fresh 09-01-2005 03:26 PM

hip hop is nowhere near dying :2 cents:

MetaMan 09-01-2005 03:28 PM

"hip hop" is no longer "hip hop" it is mostly dance mainstream music, you have to dig for any good artists, once someone has a hit album they change there style just to sell records.

i am really looking forward to the new mobb deep album, they are always good.
also check out TI, he is a "newer" rapper that needs to be heard.
i also cannot wait until Shyne is out of jail.

just like in any music it has its up and down times depending on which artists are running the game at the time. but hip hop will never die, its 1 big movement that is more than just the music.

The sun'll come out tomorrow
bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow

just thinking about tomorrow
cleares away the cobwebs and the sorow
'till their none
when i'm stuck with a day that's gray and lonely
i just think of my chin and grin and say oh

CHORUS
the sun'll come out tomorrow
so you gotta hang until tomorrow
come what may
tomorrow tomorrow i love ya tomorrow
your always a day away

:1orglaugh

KRL 09-05-2005 09:03 AM

You never know with music. When rap and then hip hop first started I figured a couple years at best. That was back in the late '80's and its still here.

HDADULT 09-05-2005 09:04 AM
