Gators, snakes, other hostile life.

Ok considering most of NO is underwater, and I saw footage of a couple of dolphins kicking it in a holiday inn swimming pool. It made me wonder are there not a lot of crocs swimming around that were displaced?
Also since it basicly is a swamp, wouldnt there be a whole ass load of snakes with no land that are seeking any area non wet?
Lastly with the broken levi, that means sea water right? Could that also mean ocean going creatures cruise in soon when the water gets a little interesting smelling to them?

Sorry this all facinates me.

Machete_ 08-31-2005 04:00 PM

yes . crocks have already killed a few people, but the media haven't told it yet, to keep people from panicking

leedsfan 08-31-2005 04:01 PM

Didnt discovery channel already do that?

I think it came down to who was attacking and who was surprised.

Now besides snakes, spiders, crocs, salt water life and stuff dont they also have leaches and big ass snapping turtles?

Thick skin on top, soft skin underneath. Plus, in the water, where an encounter would most likely occur, the shark clearly has the upper had as it breathes water while the croc needs to surface to breathe - exposing its soft underbelly to an attack from below - a shark strategy favorite!!!

Everything imagineable is floating in that water.

Unless the battle lasted for like 3 hours, crocs don't need air.

I also saw a turtle fighting off a shark, so you never know
