How do you tell a horse's sex WITHOUT looking at its genitals?
post the answer if you know(or care)...
|
A: You can tell the sex of a horse by its teeth. Most males have 40, females have 36.

LOL no shit I was just about to attempt a funny answer...but no need to do it now that I know the real one :( |
horse people can tell the difference 9 times out of 10 just by watching the animal move.
male horses (stallions) do move differently, have a different temperament, and usually win more contests against females---this is especially true in competitive horses. geldings behave more similar to mares. generally geldings and mares make much betting riding or pleasure horses. statistically, horse related injuries are close to motorcycles, with stallions causing more injuries (throw offs, roll overs on riders, kicks, etc.) yes, i own a horse. |

she said she'd take a male over a female anytime...apparently they behave better...and are more stable (their temperament that is).... |
