Thank christ that bastard is dead. Sure, he was probably a nice guy in real life, but everytime I passed The Price is Right while channel surfing, he'd be doing that damn "And is it INSERT NUMBER HERE!?".

Must be a slow news day when GFYers are making up reports about old geezers dying (Barker is still alive and kicking at 81 as far as I know).

In addition to being the barker for the Price is Right (quite possibly the dumbest and most popular game show ever), Bob Barker gained some noteriety as an animal rights contributor/spokeperson and for a sexual harrassment case brought by one of his Barbie-esque "Barker's Beauties" (Barker won the suit).

Of course I'll remember him best for his cameo appearance in "Happy Gilmore".

I just flew back to Seattle from LAX and saw a couple of yahoos at the airport who just came back from The Price is Right with their homemade t-shirts on saying that if they got on the show they will name their kid Bob Barker.
