a subaru is a great car, but im talking about street racers - I dont care what stickers the car have, I want cars that are fast and custombuild, not cruisers

I know the HP, but at the same time, It's a ridiculous looking car with the Giant Hood Scoop and Wing, the insides are minimalistic. It's a car you buy for a little speed and regret owning it 3 years later when you grow up.

"I Have a fast firefly!"

"congratulations, it's a firefly"

Nope - how do you expect me to know each and every bloody car in the states? I live in AUSTRALIA - you guys have a million and one V8's

If i posted a pic of my car you wouldn't know it's make / model.

mackey 08-31-2005 01:16 PM

I'd submit some cars, but any cars I shoot usually go into print magazines, sorry.

putting #'s to #'s, a Subaru will always be handed its ass on paper.

But then again, I don't see many american made cars, if any, actively racing in the WRC... (with the exception of the Ford Focus)

I liked them but dumped as you can see cause they where too bumpy on the freeway. The 405 is jacked up now.

I love concept cars, that's where I got the idea for 20's on the z. They even fly 22's on allot of concept designs. :)

Machete_ 08-31-2005 01:38 PM

Like I said - Details, and pictures will get you on the site.

nice photo :thumbsup

liquidmoe 08-31-2005 03:13 PM

At first I was going to mod the crap out of my car but as I started doing it I realized this modding isnt for people who actually drive their cars they way they are meant to be driven. I abuse the crap out of my car and actually drive it the way it was intended, and all of these mods, they are just for attention, the majority of them just make the drive impossible, you have to watch out for every pothole and imperfection in the road, so Im just going to keep it very light.

Maybe a little bit of suspension work and sway bars and call it a day. Thought about trading the rims in for some OEM 19"s and a coilover set, anyone interested heh ? :thumbsup

Whats the point of making the car all show and go, if you dont ever really make it go? And if you drop that sucker, put dubs on it, you wont be going, unless you like being out $5K every time you have to replace your broken rims.

LA Mike 08-31-2005 03:19 PM

Actually you can mod out an M3 pretty sick from Dinan and still have everything warranteeeeeeed through BMW..

My M5 has full race, breaks, suspension, rear end, clutch, cams, super charger, rims and tires, intake, computer, and all kinds of other crap that give it 650+ horses and I can still drive it daily.

Dinan rocks

Michaelious 08-31-2005 03:22 PM

sounds like that would be a cool idea

Mike has a point here, but IMO Dinan is way overpriced for what it offers and what it is.
liquidmoe: coils / sway upgrade / GruppeM intake / Eisenmann Race Exhaust / Cats / BBK = all go and a bit of show :2 cents:

liquidmoe: Just noticed you're in NY, do you usually attend meets?

Its only a fuel slut if you drive it how it was made. Otherwise it gets

V6 M/5: 19/31 mpg
V6 A/4: 19/31 mpg
V8 M/6: 19/26 mpg < I own this one
V8 A/4: 18/26 mpg

Very, Very True. Don't believe, do the research. Engine is more than capable of pushing 1325 hp. Still don't believe? Look up the owner of Veilside's Skyline.

PenisFace 08-31-2005 11:26 PM

No, this isn't my car. R34 GTR's won't be legal here in Canadia for a long time (has to be 15 years old to the month of manufacture before you can legally import it). However, it has the required 'park bench' on the trunk, which should make it more than capable of being a feature car on your new site. It's currently making 1200HP, and is using 1 of 2 ocustom engines that was developed and built by HKS. Unfortinutly, it doesn't have a list of specs. However, this is what was said in the post I'm getting it from.

HKS high deck RB26DETT, 1 of 2 in existence. Can be revved to 13,000 rpm. External fuel pumps. The engine has not been stroked. While the regular GTR has a 2.6 inline six, this car has an engine that was built with a larger stroke. It's currently at 2.8 liters.
