If so, GFY could raise $10,000 for the relief effort...which is kind of hard to ignore. If kbizzle could spin it up right, we might luck out and get some good press as a side effect of helping those who need it.

How lame is it to try and spin donations for good publicity? I always donate anonymously. If you want to help people then do it. Don't do it in expectation of a pat on the back or an attaboy.

i'll donate via redcross.org but being tied into the "Adult Industry Donation", no way. Remember all that money that was raised for the Tsumi from the adult industry?? and how awesome that was that so much was raised?? well, afterwards, Oprah went on tv and said it was US that was flying over there to shoot child porn right after the tsumi hit.

like i said, i will donate to the red cross, but only as "another american citizen".
