U.S. forces launch air strikes on Iraq-Syria border
What for timing, with Katrina and stuff..
"U.S. forces launched a series of air strikes along Iraq's border with Syria, the U.S. military said on Tuesday. The air raids started at about 6:20 a.m. in a number of towns near the western city of Qaim along the Syrian border, 200 miles northwest of Baghdad, AP reported. Al Qaim hospital official said that more than 47 people died in the U.S. attacks, which destroyed two houses. Iraqi officials said clashes erupted in the area between a tribe that backs foreign fighters and another that supports the Iraqi government. The U.S. military statement didn?t mention the tribal fighting but said four bombs were dropped to destroy a house occupied by what it said were "terrorists" outside the town of Husaybah. Read the whole on Aljazeera Nobody in the states is really going to look at Iraq right now due to Katrina. Another Story making headlines " At least 630 Iraqi Shiites killed in stampede More than 630 Iraqi Shiites died when they stampeded off a bridge over the Tigris river in Baghdad after a bloody mortar attack near a Shiite shrine north of the capital, AFP reported, citing an Iraqi security official. :Oh crap |

What's a better place to get news from the middle east? You don't really believe the whole "aljazeera helps terrorists" nonsense from Rumsfeld and company, do you? They just report what they see from the point of view of people in the countries we're bombing, I think it's great we still have the freedom to read it. |

hm... So,,,, hmmm,, Interesting that nobody in the USA reads foreign papers. Think its funny.. Ha ha ha pictures... Interesting!
They also write about it in "Spiegel.de" but since most don't speak German I figured I send it to you all in English Today in Spiegel.de (http://www.spiegel.de) Panik nach Anschlag auf Schiiten - zahlreiche Tote Bei einer Massenpanik nach einem Anschlag auf feiernde Schiiten sind in Bagdad mindestens 32 Menschen ums Leben gekommen. You are going to keep on laughing! All the way to the Draft Board if you young people in the USA don't educate yourself of whats going on.. What do you think? Fox doesn't report it than its not true.. I pity you!~ |

Sad fuckers, eh? If it's on Faux News it must be real but Aljazeera, no way!! What are you an idiot believing what you read on Aljazeera? Look, I've got a graphic of people laughing. Of course, that being said, the analogy is correct - neither US Media nor Aljazeera are especially reliable.
Not taking anything away from the multitude of sources you provide - just making a point. |
