they should take lessons form the Dutch. I saw a show on National Geographic once about how they have suffered from flooding problems for hundreds of years and have adapted, and developed amazing flood control systems. Maybe we should take notes.

I dont think they get hurricanes with 140+ winds pushing the water in but I might be wrong

One of the worst floods on record (50's I think) had 25 foot and taller storn surges. North sea can be a bitch

I with all the money bush wastes on bull shit I think that there shouldn't be a problem with rebuilding New Orleans. If we can come up with money to rebuild other countries there should not be a second thought about coming up with funds to rebuild a historic part of our own country. I think that if bush were to say anything about lack of funding to rebuild New Orleans there will be tons of angry Americans that he could complain after all the money he is spending on other countries.
