resizing mass images ????
 
I have to resize 1400 images

whats the best way to do it I Want them all to be shrunk to a 125 pixel width

and I dont want them to be renamed whats the best way to go about it

make a action in photoshop, or maybe Arles can do it without renaming.

irfanview will do that and its free..

i'm pretty sure it doesnt rename them , but even if it does you can just rename them back :)


oscars renamer seems to work well as an easy program to use.

Photoshp actions are your best bet. Perfect if you're not trying to rename the files.

Only problem with Photoshop Actions is that you will have to hit the 'play action' shortcut key for every picture. It's not really automatic.

You can dump them into a folder and change them all at once through an action. All you need to do is divide them up for landscape and portrait. Then do one image for each to record the action. After that, the action takes care of all images within that folder automatically.
