72 Ounce Steak In One Hour...
I'm fixin' to head to Texas and take the challenge.
Anybody ever eat a 72 ounce steak in an hour? If you do along with the fixins you get it for free. |
Four and a half pounds of steak plus fixings? That's gotta be rough.
|

Yo, guys in my family come in on the HUGE side. 7ft ain't uncommon.
I have 3 cousins I've seen eat a 20lb turkey all by themselves including dressing and sweet potatoes. I can polish off a 4lb steak. Don't know about the fixins though. I've eatin lots in my day. |

Been there done that, bought a t-shirt on the way. Tried it in the middle of no where in Nebraska. Sailed through the fixin's and 2 pounds of steak as they served it up 2lbs at a time. Started in on the second piece but the fuckers must of left the second piece on the grill while I was eating the first one and by the time I got it, it was like leather. Didn't quite make it within the hour.
About 8 hours later I expelled the beast in Salt Lake City. Total Cost for dinner-$37 The runs in Salt Lake City-Priceless |

There was a place in Winnipeg called "Gabby's Roadhouse" years ago.... they had a challenge like this.
It was: 2 - 40oz sirloins, char-broiled, = 5 lbs of meat. 2 - baked potatoes 1 - big salad 1 - bowl of baked beans 2 - thick slices of Texas toast The record for eating the above meal was just under 1 hour, until my old buddy Derreck tried it. Back in 1980 he finished off that entire meal in 37 minutes. True story. |
