    Which should I buy: the XL2 or DVX100A???

    Howdy. I'm the surfer who only posts about the scammer.

    Thought I'd reach out to the shooters here, or anyone else with miniDV experience, and see what your thought were on the Canon XL2 camera vs. the Panasonic DVX100A.
    I'm leaning towards the DVX - its 1k less than the XL2, but some people insist the quality of footage is worth the extra money (others say there's little difference).

    Thoughts?

      DVX100A no question. if you look at quality of footage, weight, and price it's a no brainer. unless interchangeable lenses is a really big deal for you.
      the Discovery Channel was shooting a doc in my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu dojo a couple of weeks ago, and even them mofos were using the DVX.
