Yes. Contact a broker, I bought my recent car through a broker and got it at COST. Serious, no bs.

Just call around and look for auto brokers, they deal directly with the dealership manager (various dealerships) and get you the best possible deal. They get a percentage (which is lower than the dealership would pay a salesperson) which is why you get a better deal. And you don't have to fuck around with pushy salesmen.

If you were located over here in Toronto I'd hook you up with his number. He is blind and works from home as a broker. But I'm sure you can find one out there.

Is your car brand new? Did you have a trade in?

Yes it was brand new... We did not have a trade-in.

Since the sale price is already agreed on there is no more haggling or bartering involved. Since you deal directly with the sales manager you can factor in trade-in and other things in person, but they might not give you top dollar since you (potentially) are already getting a great deal.

I wish I were located in Toronto.. sigh.

Everybody has a friend in the car business. Tell your friend you will give them a flat fee to do all the work and let them go at it.
