You guys ready to pay $4+ a gallon on gas?

I think that's where its going to head very soon.
I bet its $3.50 within a week and then up from there

4Pics 08-30-2005 01:03 PM

it's still under $3 for super at most places here.

sperbonzo 08-30-2005 01:05 PM

We will still be only 2/3s the cost of gas in Europe...and by then it will be more for them to, so we will probably stay at about 1/2 the cost of gas in the EU

People in Europe don't have to drive nearly as far as we do. Hell, for what most people drive here as their average daily commute, you could drive across half of Holland.

N.O. provided us with 25% of our oil and its something like 90% down

I predict gas will be at $3.50 within the next 7 to 10 days, and then $4 within a month

I'll pay any amount to help this great country.

djroof 08-30-2005 01:19 PM

Will go up around 30 cents within a month. The oil isn't the problem it's refineries and several of those are in the area as well. There aren't any to take on the extra production so there will be a shortage.

Irrelevant as the price of gas in Europe is due mainly to taxes.

But they drive much less over there ... and they usually choose cars that can go 100 km on 7-8 L ( an average car here in North America takes 12-15 / 100 km )

I Like Chocolate 08-30-2005 01:38 PM

The real problem will be the transportation costs of shipping goods everywhere. Those costs will get passed on to the consumer.

vvq 08-30-2005 01:38 PM

my car runs on vegetable oil bitches

Rob 08-30-2005 01:40 PM

Rinaldo 08-30-2005 02:02 PM

Jessy-Star 08-30-2005 02:07 PM

some guys in Europe also have to drive a lot with cars that don't only take 7 l / 100 km
and think about gas prices of about 6 $ / gallon in Europe!!!

NinjaSteve 08-30-2005 02:08 PM

When it hits $3 a gallon people will still buy becuase they have to drive. Yeah it sucks, so I hope you get good gas mileage. I feel bad for the H2s.

ry0t 08-30-2005 02:08 PM

Yeah it ain't nothing except to broke bitches.

split_joel 08-30-2005 03:02 PM

im glad gas is going up, i hope it goes up to 5 because it will be then when the people selling gas wont be able to profit off it anymore because 70% of the people will stop driving there own cars because they wont be able to afford to drive, once that happends the gas prices will go down to a cofterable place

pornguy 08-30-2005 03:03 PM

I work at home as well, but when I do drive, it is long distance. We are paying about 2.35 to 2.55 here in Mexico.
