thats fuckin awesome dude. I quit for 3 months, started taking puffs here and there and one thing led to another and im back at a pack to pack and a half a day.
The worse is when you drink. If you can hold of on smoking while you drink then you can keep it going. Great job dude, congrats. |
nice.... my last attempt lasted 16 hours.
and i was asleep for about 10 of them. |

How much weight have you gained?
awesome!
next month will be my 5 month anniversary of no cigs :thumbsup i, too, quit cold turkey. the first 3 days were hell, then it slowly got better & better each day. after a month, i stopped thinking about cigs & smoking all together. my sense of smell & taste is AMAZING and i gained weight from wanting to eat so many foods now that my taste buds felt alive lol for the first time since i was 12 yrs old, i was able to SMELL RAIN!! And have you noticed how you can now tell smokers from non-smokers by the way smokers smell?? dont they smell like a fuckin over-used ashtray? lol :) thank god i dont smell like that shit anymore :thumbsup oh ya, my teeth are white now too LOL |
Very nice. I am going on day 3 without a somke, easier then I thought. So far.
Big fucking deal.
Awesome man, I made a promise to my kids when they go back to school I'll quit grrr only 7 days left and I can already feel it is going to be a nightmare! Good luck to all that is trying Im right behind you,
TOM :pimp |
wow man congratulations...hold on tight youre doing good
10 more days and it gets easier. A month from now you'll forget how hard it was and turn into one of those asshole ex-smokers who never shuts up about how they quit and how it just takes willpower. :D
8 months here keep it up :thumbsup

Was a good idea switching to pot. :pimp
Congrats though.. big feat. Matt |
congrats I raise my cigar in salute to you . :)
Oh man!!! I'm right on the verge of wanting to quit cold turkey. I've done the wellbutrin and the patch like 5 times etc... But at the time I was focusing on others nagging the shit outta me rather than reallly wanting to quit.
I really want to quit.... Not that long ago I did pretty well for a while by using an "aid" which was quest cigarettes... http://www.questcigs.com/ I'm actually going to order them tomorrow. You can still smoke but you "accidentally" quit without really realizing it. There's 3 levels of nicotine.. Just like the patch except it's not pumping your body with twice as much nicotine as the patch does. You suffer just a little and smoke more for like 3 days and then you get used to them... smoke the rest of the carton and then go again to a lower level.. By the time I did level 2, like 6 hours would go by without noticing and I'd realize I hadn't smoked. Cuz by then they aren't doing much for you at all so you don't crave them as much. Then the cool part is when you get to level 3... It's NO nicotine. So if you go out and drink or whatever and smoke like a train, you can wake up the next day without the full fledged addiction again. The key is to NOT RUN OUT... that's the problem. Once you run to the gas station to buy a pack so you can just have one, you're screwed. Thanks for the inspiration, headless. |
Good job! Keep on going and don't look back.
good job, dont even blow smoke into your system again.
Congrats Headless
i bet you still cant walk 5 feet without being out of breath
Congrats!!! :thumbsup keep it up!
Not bad, keep it up ;)
