that's not me, that's one of my neighbors popping out of the roof. I'm ok, we lost part of our roof and i had to help fix it, lost some trees, had to cut down some other trees, almost got nailed by a falling branch. few cuts, bruises and a burn but i'm ok. Was pretty windy here, we lost power for about 13 hours but we got off easy in comparison to New Orleans

my neighbor

some downed tree limbs that almost hit me

quick patch job on the roof, the attic vents blew off and left 2 gaping 10x3 foot holes in the roof :(

I consider myself extremely lucky but there are thousands upon thousands now without homes, 2 of my neighbors lost the houses they grew up in, completely washed away, I'm sure most of you have seen the news and it may only get worse for the people down there, the pontchartrain levee is starting to crack and is in danger of breaking so try to find it in your hearts to sling a little cheddar to the redcross if you have the means
