I've already had two coffees, an iced cap from Tim Hortons, and a caramel frappuccino from Starbucks. I can't function without a steady flow of caffeine.

Rui 08-30-2005 09:58 AM

The "Goods" And "Bads" of having a parent that is a GM for Starbucks:

Good: I rarely run out of coffee at home and it doesn't cost me a thing.

Bad: I currently drink around 5-7 pots of coffee/day (no exageration)....

The coffee studies have been going on for ages: pro and con. Seems every year they tip one way or the other. Yes, coffee contains tons of great antioxidants, etc. but it also raises short term blood pressure and is addicting. Bottom line is they probably cancel each other out.

Too much of anything is bad for you. That's why it's called "Too Much".

loverboy 08-30-2005 11:56 AM

before hitting the gym, take a cup of cofee.. you will feel less pain from the workout.
coffee contains a pain killing ingredient that will help ease the torn muscles brought
about by lifting weights and other activities at the gym-- Mens Health Aug. 05
