I dont make a bad living and I bitch about gas prices all the time, especially when I remember during Clinton paying 69 cents a gallon.

I repeat that you do not have and do not earn very much money if you complain about the price of gas. Of course there is one other possibility...you are so over extended (living beyond your means)...and that would make you not very bright. So which is it?

Not at all , you must not make alot because if you did you wouldnt want to be throwing it away.

Flawed logic. I've got no shame, I just scrape by, but I don't bitch about gas prices. Has nothing to do with whether I can afford it...it's all about mentality. To me, there's nothing I can do about it, and I need gas, no matter how much it costs, so I don't worry about it.

Adjusted for inflation...the price of gas is not at an all time high...and in fact is still relatively cheap. No one is getting raped and only the poor...or those that are over extended (living beyond their means) complain about it.

I saw Oprah bith the other day bitch about the price of gas - and we all know how she is just scraping by, living on the breadline.

But yet...you cannot pay $135.00 per week to drive the hummer...thus you are over extended which equals...not being very bright.

BTW...I could easily afford a hummer and easily afford to drive same...but I think they are ugly. As for a BMW...I do not have a desire for one.

Two years ago I purchased a new Toyota Tacoma 6 cylinder with all extras...including 4 wheel drive. I love it and it makes 22 miles to the gallon on a trip. BTW...I paid cash for it as I do with anything and everything that I purchase.

Reason why people complain so much about gas is because medias talk a lot about it. Also, because higher gas price = Higher everything that is made with gas prices ... so in the end, it's a bigger rise in cost of living ... I do beleive people give it too much attention thought

Of course not everyone is rich, because then "rich" would have no relative meaning. That doesn't seem like much of a revelation.

However, although high gas prices hurt poor people more, even rich people complain about the gas ripoff.
