It's costing me roughly $135 a week to drive my Hummer!

I can't even drive it anymore! I'm stuck with driving my BMW instead. Sucks having to make tough decisions like this.

wedouglas 08-29-2005 09:09 PM

Hummers suck. :2 cents:

NaughtyRob 08-29-2005 09:09 PM

Sounds about right, it costs me $50-$60 per week for my Isuzu Rodeo.

woj 08-29-2005 09:11 PM

it must be a bitch not being able to afford to drive ones car anymore... :1orglaugh

frankfortuna 08-29-2005 09:11 PM

Join the club, I'm averaging $75 per fill-up now. I'm thinking about getting a diesel Jetta as a daily commuter.

HDADULT 08-29-2005 09:12 PM

Fuck you hummer

tony286 08-29-2005 09:13 PM

my sable 35 bucks a week lol

wedouglas 08-29-2005 09:13 PM

Why do people drive hummers around the town? Doesn't make any sense. There are nicer vehicles in it's size. If you aren't going camping or off roading, why drive it?

KMR Stitch 08-29-2005 09:14 PM

Normaly if you bought the hummer you didn't give a shit what gas prices are....

I've got a T-bird and it costs me $65 to fill it.

wedouglas 08-29-2005 09:16 PM

You guys need to buy more fuel efficient cars. Grab a Honda.

pr0 08-29-2005 09:17 PM

And everyone laughed at me when i bought a honda civic :)

I could have afforded anything at the time.

I fucking love it, from here to the beach & back, & still a quarter tank.

40mpg highway

Who's complaining? I just don't like to fill it up twice a week when I have another car that gets better gas mileage.

Does anyone remember that tall SUV in the early eighties? It was like a japanese Jeep or something. They supposedly flipped over easily; they were all over the place and then they were gone. I can't even remember what they were called now.

hydro 08-29-2005 09:52 PM

thats the price you pay for driving a big body ;) well worth it though

Sounds about right, I was talking to my boy today and he was at the station filling up and he said he hit $75 and the thing kept going, says it roughly cost him 4150 a week for gas for the Hummer and about $100 for the Viper.

MrJackMeHoff 08-29-2005 10:04 PM

Yeah Im about twice a week too. But who cares really? Fuck it.. The more gas goes up the less people in my way!

JD 08-29-2005 10:08 PM

Drop down to an H3. They do 20 Miles per Gallon and only use regular. Or move up to an H1 and use Diesel Fuel.

My H1 got the same milage burning diesel as my H2 got burning premium, about 13mpg each. And diesel isnt any cheaper. Plus the H1 sucks on the hiway and in parking lots.

Theo 08-30-2005 01:41 AM

i hope it goes up to $400/barrel

straight up!
