Video folks help! (video to animation?)

Hi folks! I'm wanting to make a little 10 second animation for my site out of a video clip I have. I don't want it to be flash, gif is preferred. Is this possible? Well, I assume it's possible. Tips for the steps involved would be wonderful. :)

In Adobe Premiere:
File > Export > Movie > Format: GIF Animation
