I have heard this phrase being used: "The Last Resort"

not the case, the Superdome can house over30k

ever wonder why only 10k is there?

becasue the Superdome is where the people who live in New Orleans projects go for evacuation. All the black ghetto areas of new orleans are emptied and they go to the SUperdome.

sad, but I find it amazing that CNN kept saying this was the last safe place for the people in New Orleans, when in fact, most of the people in new orleans would never go there.

its where the poorest, and the homeless go.

dd you see wealthy white families in line to go into the Dome? No, the poor go there, and the tourists.

my mom is staying in a hotel in texas, having evacuated from new Orleans yesterday. She is with my two brothers , step dad, and my brothers' girlfriends. 6 people who have no idea when they can go back to their flooded neighborhood.

I know families right now under water.

My grandmothers home has already suffered roof damage and the vinyl siding has been ripped off.

I have no idea about my moms house yet, as she has no way to find out yet.

Not sure what you have been watching but i've only heard that fact mentioned about 2 dozen times. They didnt say 'black' ...but they said the poor, homeless, and tourists would be using it

So don't waste time on GFY correcting the media, call CNN during their talk shows orDr. Laura of Rush Limbaugh and tell them about it so the world will know.
