A modest proposal, and some of my shitty photoshop work.
 

Instead of sending soldiers off to die in horrible ways to settle disputes; every nation on Earth should construct Giant Warrior Robots which can then be set upon each other in battle.

EVERYONE knows how totally freaking awesome Giant Warrior Robots are, and how much time is spent discussing their merits. However, I may be the first one to come up with a way to utilize Giant Warrior Robots to solve most of the worlds major geopolitical drama with a relatively small loss of life.

Giant Warrior Robots kick ass. Literally. One Giant Warrior Robot could easily replace an entire division of heavy armor. Additionally, the logistical benefits of replacing said division with a single Giant Warrior Robot simply make the mind reel.

Anyway it's something to think about, and since France seems to be expressing an interest in hosting international sporting events...
