Tell me about cruise lines - whos been on many?
i'm planning on going on a cruise in october or november with a friend of mine. we are both in our early 20's so the more young people on there the better. i dont want to go on one too long but it seemed like the boats for the shorter ones were better.
whats the best cruise line to go on? i definitely want to go somewhere warm. |

I've heard Carnival is the way to go for the younger crowd, but I'm not sure what their amenities are like. Diet before you go, food is served in massive quantities 24x7 on cruise ships. |
I went on Carnival Triumph and Im going again next year..thats where you young guys want to be. :).. beautiful ship

yeah i went on carnival about 5 years ago on my only cruise ever buy wanted to see if it was the best. i heard that carnival has more people my age... but i also remember that when i went there were little brats running around wild and it was really annoying.

I grew up going on cruises! For your age group, Carnival is the way to go! The service isn't the greatest....or alot of other things, but it'll be more fun to stick with a younger group of people. :2 cents:

I like Royal Caribbean, but if you're looking for more of a party atmosphere, definitely go with Carnival. They have a million ships, should be easy to get a good rate.

Did anyone see that DateLine Special they did about the cruiseship lines?
They pulled samples in the ships cabins and found piss, semen, and all kinds of other bodily fluids and nasty ass bacteria in all of them. It was actually amazing the results. Totally ruined it for me ever going on a cruise. I've also heard people get sick from the water on board also, or something to that effect. Hundreds of people on the boat all becoming ill. hAVE fUN :-) |

Been on a couple of cruises, all through either Carnival or Royal Carribean. Royal was nicer cause the boat was brand new.
A week cruise is a good length. It gives you a chance to spread out and take things slower. Don't make the mistake and book 50 million excursions everytime the boat ports. You'll be hating life if you have shit planned every second. And all of the excursions you can do on your own anyways. Either Carribean cruises are nice. Grand Cayman has some of the most beautiful water I've seen in my life. One other thing I've heard is that Carnival is more of a family cruise line, so there will be more kids. Royal had more of a reputation for less kids, but maybe that's changed. When you book your tickets, request to get a table for two for dinners. That way you guys can eat in peace. Otherwise you will be dining with about 8 people you don't know and they will ask you what you do for a living, and a 100 other prying questions about your life. Just save yourself the hassle. |

I've only been on one, and it was the Miracle on the Carnival line..in it's first month, so we got to it while it was fresh, lol.
I'm a bit older..28 now..but in a way that's better because I still fit into the twenties groups and the thirties groups, lol. The club inside the ship was a shitload of fun. :) |
