20 Year Old Scotch
Just bought me a nice bottle of 1982 Dalwhinnie Scotch. Goes down like water but still warms the cockles. Very NICE!

I wont drink any scotch unless it is old enough to drive ;-)
My uncle has some 37yo bottles and counting. |
smooooth ;-)
|
I got a bottle of La Cerveza Mas Fina... excellent date... this week!
|
Wow, 37 years old sounds tastey! The oldest I've has is 25, and holy shit was that smoooooooooooth.
|
I'm Scottish and 20 years old but you can't have me!!!

If you are a real cognac drinker this is the stuff... goes down SMOOOOOTH. If you go to a restaraunt and drink it make sure you finish off the bottle b/c its worth like $150 empty.

I misread the title of this thread...I thought it was a Kman thread called "Looking For a 20 Year Old Named Scott"
|
I've drank cognac before and had some of the worst hangovers of my life. I just refuse to drink it anymore.
|
Never touch the stuff.

http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/jhb/whisky/smws/102.html I'm a bit of a scotch drinker. Been to Scotland a few times too. I'm not a believer that "the older, the better". It's just not true. My everyday Scotch is MaCallans 12yr. It's quite nice. I'm not a fan of the island scotches though... they're very peaty tasting. But I suppose I could acquire the taste.. LOL |
I found a bottle of beer behind my couch when i moved. It was a quarter full and had probably been ther a couple yeers. That was a sweet drink. Went down like molasses.

I think that a good Scotch needs to be at least 15 years old before it starts to get really smooth. My everyday Scotch is GlenLivet 12 year old. My favourite would be either the bottle I just bought or GlenLivet 18 year old. I tried MaCallans 25 year old......very stinky and flavourful, but went down smooth! |
Bushmills is PISS. Holy christ...
The only Irish whiskey worth a damn is (triple distilled) Jameson. |
