Attention CCBill clients - possible bug in join pages
 

You may all be aware of this but if there was a notification somewhere I missed it.....

If someone trying to sign up for a site has the Google toolbar installed, some of the CCBill join pages won't properly display the text that they type in.

In other words, they may be typing white letters on a bright yellow background and the text doesn't show up for them to see (unless they highlight it after they type it, and as we all know surfers are usually smart enough to do that, right?)

From what CCBill support (which is always great) tells me - it's because the G toolbar modifies the page to allow auto-completion of forms, so the background color of the text boxers changes.

Some of the CCBill forms DO work properly - ones with white backgrounds, and some of the others. But you might want to check your CCBill signup pages on old sites and change forms if necessary - even if they used to display properly, they might now now with the G toolbar installed.

PS - for any SmokeCash affiliates, this did NOT affect SmokeCash sites in any way, since the join pages were set up more recently. It only affected some of my older, private sites.

I wondered why I was getting that on all the CCBill sign-up pages I looked at...I thought I was going crazy.
