sucks - there used to be a guy named Dan LaBatard who had a show on ESPN Radio on Sunday mornings - he was great. he quit to take a gig on a local Miami sports station. the guy who replaced him asolutely blows.

I like listen to talk radio while working, Stern takes up 4 hours 5 days (I know you are a fan), then sports. I need to get sirius, I hear it's pretty cool.

yeah i'm a huge Stern fan - even when the only way i could catch him was on Letterman occassionally and tapes people would send me. i'm not sure how well Howard on Sirius is going to work - the restraint Howard was under gave him a foil in the management of the radio station and the FCC , he was a bad boy and a 'shock jock' because he was breaking the rules of mainstream radio. Now there are no restraints, i think he's going to lose alot of his impact - there are no boundaries left to push, Howard still is a brilliant comic mind and monologist and most of all a master puppeteer of real living human beings so i'm hoping he catches on quick that swearing and having pornstars do outrageous things won't really mean much on satellite because everybody is doing it. This is going to be a huge challenge for him at his age to re-invent himself and his show.

Well written and too the point. I know I'll have sirius come January, but the facts you brought up make perfect sence. I was going to buy a few shares of it, but for the reasons you mentioned I did not. I hope I don't regret it in 2 years.
