whats the best program to use when making graphics
 

im wanting to start making graphics but i dont know what to use when making them weather its adobe visual basics html or whatever it is so could someone help me out.

Macromedia Fireworks is my top pick.

Also like Ulead Photo Impact and Adobe Photoshop.

Diehard Paint Shop Pro 7 here. It kicks royal arse, it takes up about half the space as adobe photoshop does on your hard drive (if space is a concern), and it's quite easy to work with and learn on. Great photo editor too, and it comes with a nice animation shop program too.

All it took was the mention of Paint Shop Pro to get me to make my first post...it is a great program for all the reasons mentioned. Tried the evaluation, liked it so much went and bought it. Tons of free pluggins out there for it as well.

I use psp 6 and 7. Photoshop and Macromedia Freehand.

hmm, not too many people mention Microsoft Paint. I think it's actually pretty good. (Once you get the hang of it)

I dip gerbils in India Ink to make my graphics....

Geeez...I don't remember seeing too many female intro posts like that, hehe....I got the impression us new lady tarts didn't have to do that til we got the Tshirt!
