but i also live in a large military area ( fort hood texas )
huge base here ....

I would think if bush is doing the wrong thing that these people would be pissed but ALL you see down here is bush supports

makes no sence


the supporters here have family in iraq
and yet they still support

1- The concept of patriotism got them into the army.. the concept of patriotism will have them follow blindly and proudly the leader of their country.. Same thing with famillies..

2- Most human beings that risk their life for something will unconciously try their best to justify what they are doing.. Few will admit to themselves that they are risking their lives for nothing or for a bad leader.... That applies to familly too..

3- Famillies remember vietnam.. they think suppport for the war and president = Sons viewed as heros... No support for war and president = Sons forgotten, Not appreciated, risked their lives for nothing, etc...

we are doing alot of good in iraq. every military man/woman i talk to tha has been over there serving says that what you see in the media is way off base. MOst of the military is glad they are able to make a difference in people lives. Politics just makes everything blurry

tell the people you are talking to that they are being manipulated...! lol .. Now they are being told that they are there to save the people of Iraq.. Do they really believe that shit? Really? Do you? You think the good hearted Neocons went there for that? Please.. Its a mess.. it will be for years and years to come.. Even Rumsfeld said it..
