Host don't seem to want my business
 

I contacted two hosts last week asking them simple questions about their services before signing up and not 1 has yet replied to me... is that the kind of host you wanna do biz with?

Don't let me get started about hosting companies..

Here's the last email I sent today:

Our server was ordered on August 10th.. it has been 17 days, for setting up a server you claimed took only 36/48 hrs.
You do not keep me informed of the status, you don?t email me, ICQ me? nothing.
Even the new deadline (I?ll have it setup with Cpanel in a couple of hours) didn?t get you to at least write an email you couldn?t make it.

I?ve had enough of this.
You disappointed me big time.

I only look at big well known adult hosts...or smaller hosts where the PERSON behind it has a great reputation (like phatservers). Other than that I wouldn't bother...

Webair saved me from one of the old "former #1 adult hosts" named flashhost...As long as webair doesn't fuck shit up, I'll stay with them forever, no matter what the price of other hosts charge...But if I see a deal that is just insane, I'll contact webair and they'll work with you...They did with me and I happily send them my money every month and have no worries.

Card charged ?? No fucking way.. Nobody charges a thing till I get my goods / service.
My opinion of doing business.. My customers also don't have to pay untill things are taken care of.

Check out www.webair.com and www.sagonet.com Both are tier 1 and can hook you up biiiiig time in 1 day or less. :)

There is a reason we have a following, the best peering by a factor of 5, 12 data centers, money in the bank, great support, and you get the cell phone of yours truly to bitch 24/7. You might say, who gives a shit, but before I went adult i was put in who's who of american business for IT networking. Next time you see the other hosting company reps gettin loaded at an event, come on over to me and we can have a smart conversation. We are newer in adult, but as you see we are getting known. There is allot of hosting companies that are not company, just someone running servers from their garage with a nice looking website.

Check for BBB members, if they are incorperated, and what data center facility they use.

If they pass those three then they are serious. :2 cents:

I would only recommend the one in my sig - and dont use my ref code if you dont want - they are by far the best I have ever used and Ive been througha bunch - They are located in the Naps of America in Miami - so their connectivity is better than anyone else unless they are also in that building - right next to the FEC railway with 24 Fiber providers - and they were the most helpful people and now am glad to call them friends as well.
They installed and had me copied over from another server in one day with them taking care of all script adjustments, running Apache 2 and Tux - and half the price I was paying previously.

Most important - even as the hurricane came through there has not been 1 second of downtime at all

Noone compares to www.isprime.com and thats a fact. Theres an obvious reason why they host some of the largest adult programs online. Oh ya casio.com just got on board with them. You cant fuck with ISPrime :) Why any of you guys deal with these small time hosts to save 30 bucks a month is beyond me :2 cents:

If you want to call your host contact at 3 am, wouldn't you rather he knew his name. I partied hardy for too long. Glad to be your designated driver though. LOL.
