Sunset from my backyard
 

When I bought my house a year and a half ago - the pool and view is what literally sealed the deal.

Every night I go out here to relax and chill as the sun goes down. It's my little escape to a calm and peaceful place at the end of the day.

Caught this shot a couple weeks ago. It really captures the essence of "serenity" for me ... just thought I'd share it.

Don't get it twisted brotha! I have neighbors on both sides. One side - the wife is a little weird and crazy. The other side - the whole family is kinda obnoxious.

Buying THIS house made me realize what I want the next time I buy a place in a couple years.

- Pool with View

- More grassy areas for the kids to play

- 3500 - 4000 sq ft

- 3 car garage

- More space between the neighbors on all sides

Lived in major cities most of my life and miss the vibe/action BUT the fact is - I have kids and a family now so it's more important to me and my lady that we raise them in this type of enviornment.

When you grow up in FLATLAND USA (Indiana), then you really appreciate views. I prefer a combination of ocean/city view. There is nothing like the sparkling lights of the city. The problem with just an ocean view is that at night, you see nothing but blackness. My friend lives in Colorado, and the mountains at night are scary. They look like big black ghosts when the sun goes down.

The pool, palms, and mountains in your pictures are a great combination. :thumbsup

Exactly my thoughts, and it's like this most of the year. Gets a little cooler in the winter, but it's still beautiful to look at!

I'm in Southern California. Santa Clarita Vally. It's like 20 miutes above Northridge and "Porn Valley". It's actually Kind of a "high desert area" - not tropical at all but I'm sure the palm trees tricked ya!

You are correct it was recently claimed as indian land. They are infact burial tombs from the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians. They will be starting on the new casino Q2 2007
