css styles and web design question.
I've been having some fun with css lately using filters like glow and drop shadow.
Since this shit doesn't render in netscape am I wasting my time. I always check the pages to make sure it still looks good in both browsers but man this stuff can really make a page look good if done right and I'd hate to not use it. So what's the consensus? eros |

What's netscape?
Knock yourself out with the DHTML. :winkwink: |
My stats say less than 3% of my surfers are still using Nutscrape ... I have not bothered rendering pages to be 100% NS friendly ever since IE5.5 came out ...
Microshit won the browser war at that point :winkwink: |
Btw eros, do you know about MSDN? Great resources there. Check out this latest DHTML Dude article in the WebDev section.

I do check out dynamic drive tho' Thx again this went into my favs eros :D |
Netscape 4 series is ancient history. Gecko, known to most of you as Netscape 6, does a good job rendering most shit -- it is much more like MSIE than Netscape 4, and in fact, has dropped support for a bunch of old netscape features in favor of the msie equivelents.
