When Google see a good thing they know it!
ImLive.net the international language versions of ImLive.com already got a page rank 7.

from the first look i took it seems to be fake pr from another site :) |
The PR of the domain: http://www.imlive.net is 0
|
|
lol fake pr
|
Had that happen to me once. My site was accidentally given the backlinks of another site. The were being linked to from such sites as the bbc and cnn. I had a PR8 for a couple of weeks.
I was ecstatic to say the least until I realised what was really happening! ... |
Problem with a fake PR is that it doesn't generate traffic.
|
http://imlive.com/homepage.asp shows a PR of 5 on my toolbar. That's more than fine and nothing to bitch about.
http://www.imlive.net/ is a PR0 http://www.imlive.net/ is showing a PR7 (ahmmmm is this fake?) Gee with all that traffic, you won't need any affiliates. |

why would u think pr7 would give u 10000s of extra traffic? u need to have some brain besides the pr to actually use its force

It is fake PR. Take a look at the Goolgle cache of the page:
http://64.233.161.104/search?sourcei...Fimlive.net%2F Read the top, they are just cloaking a redirect to http://www.cairo.eun.eg/ If you look at the backlinks for both sites, they are identical. Look at the sites and they are linking to http://www.cairo.eun.eg, not imlive.net. Take a look: Backlinks for cairo.eun.eg: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...Eeun%2 Eeg%2F Backlinks for imlive.net: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...mlive%2Enet%2F As others mentioned, it is fake PR. With the redirect in place, the site isn't worth the $8 that was paid for it in the search engines. If you want to know how the trick is done, let me know. It's pretty simple and pointless. |

So wtf does that mean? imlive.net will be banned soon?
|

However, cloaking is against most SE's TOS. It isn't too hard to catch if done poorly, so it may eventually get banned. Either way, the site doesn't even exist as a separate entity in the search engines mind. |

agreed, I had a pr6 blog site that was 1 week old that went back to an appropriate pr2 within a week...google woops in your favor sometimes, enjoy it and capitolize on it now....ie go get a shitload of link trades with SOLID pr sites before they see your pr drop back down ;) but if it's permanent, congrats to you, that's a nice score :thumbsup |
I see pr0 ???
