SO im thinking the video machine should be a Vaio as well.... Now do any of you guys know anything at all about the Vaio machines and which one i should go for? course i have no damn clue LOL And i really dont have time for the bullshit salesman talk you get in the stores either :1orglaugh Its for video rendering and encoding btw..... I have a ton i need to go thru so the poor thing will be put to work! |
For editing I use a IMac G5 with Final Cut Pro HD.

dual opteron 3.4ghz +
2gb ram 500gb SATA/SCSI RAID Dual 19" LCD PCIe Quadro 128+ I love upgrade time.. everything you wished you could have but wasn't even available last time seems so fucking cheap heheh I've got 500gb HD and 2gb DDR ram 19" lcd etc.. Next time a 2tb drive will probably be $200. |
Why not just buy the most expensive one?

To do video, I recommend a lot of ram(1-2 gigs), at least 2 HD of 120 gigs each, in raid, and a p4 3.0gz.
Of course, get yourself an ATI radeon 9800XT all in wonder, or better :thumbsup :thumbsup |
Im in the gaming industry and thats what I use to work ;)
The video industry is similar in a lot of areas :pimp |
thanks for all the feeedback guys.
