Hurricane Roll Call : Everyone OK?
 

Im In COCONUT GROVE and we are on the gusty rainy side ..Cant go outside river outside my house . Using my sideKick for access .. strong winds and rain . We have the strongest cell over us calling for 5-8 inches an hour . 2 people dead in lauderdale already .

Im in florida, I'm good still lets keep the roll call going for south florida members.

dude, i was soo looking forward to heading up to the grove tonight and picking up all the new UM students that we be soo drunk at Moes haha. Always next thursday i guess.

Pedestrian sign blew over on my expediton and palm trees all down in the yard here in South Beach... Been pretty gusty with lots of rain.

I talked to Tylo on the phone about an hour ago. He said the wind is crazy, killer rain and trees n stuff blowing around everywhere. He was going offline incase of a power surge, etc. I'm gonna give him a call back in a few hours

Yes guys ... I took my battery backups to run a radio and a light working like a charm :) its fucking wild outside ... the rain is nutso and the wind is crazy people need to stay indoors .. people didnt take this storm serious ... its very serious already 2 dead and it just hit ..

Seems like Broward County is getting the brunt of the heavy duty winds. Up here its just gusty and light rain. We just lost some of the cable channels. Still got power.

This one will be nastier after it crosses into the Gulf of Mexico and then heads North.

So far so good in NW Broward. Not too bad at all up here. Looks like it dipped south a bit and the folks just south of Miami are about to get the worst cell of the storm.

im in clearwater. we are gonna get owned next if it crosses over and goes up the coast.

Im in LA and its so hot and sunny, its horrible!

Actually the wind tore my roof off & sent me 400 feet airborne about a minute ago. Thankfully I kept a tight grip on my laptop & my wifi is stable. Now I'll be able to die doing what I love, posting on GFY.

im in west broward, davie plantation and we have power - some sections of broward are out though

this storm aint shit - the media blows this shit up and gets people stressed as fuck, that asshole weatherfag brian norcross needs his ass kicked, fucking drama queen.

- the only thing different about this storm from a normal heavy florida storm is the high winds which knock out power due to the obvious reasons, were always gettin flooded down here and gettin a ton of rain, so that shits normal -

I ran down to the beach in deerfield right before it got really ugly to watch the surfers lose their boards in the wind, quite funny, another guy's snapped in half coming out of the water trying to hold it from being blown away.

yes, very touristy, but this is my first storm down here.

Lost power in Boynton for about 4 hours, and after prepping and setting up my generator for an hour, I go to pull the starter and the lights come on :1orglaugh
