When someone spams you for services from GFY, it is considered unethical if you post the email on GFY?

someone read a post I made about some content being nice and decided to spam me with his business and their content....and I thought it was funny that someone would do that, so I posted his spam in the thread where I originally made the comment about the original posters content being nice and me possibly wanting to buy it

was this bad judgement on my part to post this dudes spam publicly? he claims that it was not cool to post a private business email, but the way I see I was doing no business with him, so there is no possible was that is was a private business email

If it was someone I knew and someone that I had already DONE business with in the past, i would never do that......

It was unsolicited. You didn't ask for it. I say you did nothing wrong.

Its trying to get business , like the salesman cold calling businesses. We are too quick to label things spam I think.

See if i had sent you an email becourse i thought your business model looked interesting and thought i would be able to start a business relationship with you and you took that as spam i would laugh my ass off as cleerly you have no idea about running a business and would be no potential client of mine.

NO, we look up our clients either thru marketing or research....now GFY is a very poor research place for serious business as most bigger companies wont even post here they just lurke (hi there pssss lol).

The guy emailing you might have been an ASS or indeed have sent you random spam i have no clue.....
However if you recived a business opertunaty and threw it on a message board i would say you are WAY off and need to rethink why your in this business....
