The New Austin Powers movie
 

so any of us who saw lord of the rings saw the trailer for the new 'little' austin powers...

what are your guesses on what this is gonna be? will it just be the first movie's script made purely with midgets?

what cha think? let's hear the theories.

I dunno..I have the Goldmember screen saver and not a midget in sight...

of course, now the movie can't be called "Goldmember" due to Universal throwing a hissy fit...

No offense, but all the time travel stuff sounds lame.

It was MGM who threw a hissy fit. They are for sale for $8 billion, they're going bankrupt. They won the case against Goldmember that it was too close to Goldfinger (bullshit, yes I know), and that it would tarnish the Bond brandname. New Line appealed the first ruling, and before the verdict was given, MGM said they could use Goldmember as long as they delayed it's opening date (so MGM could show their movie before), New Line didn't accept, and then they lost the appeal. So now they've had to do 6 months of re-shooting and change the whole plot. The Spy Who Shagged Me would have been a bit worse for the Bond brand name, and more of an infringement (The Spy Who Loved Me), which MGM didn't sue for.. so it makes MGM look like fucking pieces of shit. Of course they're going bankrupt.

I don't think it is all about midgets but I don't know.

I do know about one scene that sounded like a classic funny scene. because a model / actress auditioned for the part told me about it.

LOL.. It's not a problem Sykk, never been too that site, only reason I knew all that was because a friend is a hardcore Austin Powers fan, and I had heard it about 4 or 5 times since the whole thing started.. :) .. and Blade 2 fucking rocks too.. trailer is sweeeettt..
