dunno..but im experimenting miranda and gaim.compare which is better

worst thing about trillian,, is adding icq people,, I CAN NEVER FIND THEM

trillian has loads of features and the paid Pro version is well worth it, however on some machines I needed all free memory available so I went with the free miranda-im.org stuff which is also pretty decent just not as feature heavy...

I've worked with gaim and miranda, too. I didn't like miranda..gaim was ok, but I still preferred IM2.

We use Gaim company wide. Better than Trillian, hands down.

I found a program called messenger City. I love it and it works better than trillian. It was a 14.00 download and well worth it.

are you using the beta or v1.5? I hear the beta of 2.0 has some icq bugs.

am using gaim right now. sucked with trillian too. tried miranda, but usernames does not appear in your current window, just the time. so i dropped it....

still having probelms with gaim, though. still figuring it out. but i suggest you try it, it might work for you :winkwink:

I downloaded and paid for it at least 6 weeks ago. No issues so far.....

I really don't have any probs with Trillian PRO

trillian pro is nice but i have stopped using it for msn as i get problems with contacts sending me messages that i dont receive and vice versa. :(

same thing happend to me... and worse, some we're really gone. only few were left. they really suck :disgust

and another issue with trillian, it's hard adding new contacts. :mad:

yeppp i add em,, and i have to hunt through 100's of contacts

pradaboy, are you my fellow 'orphaned contact' complainer on the forums I see? :) I think they got the message that people paid for something to work and they should get their asses on it pronto! hehehe

Folks, what I suggest is that you get on the Trillian forum and post in the 'orphaned contacts' threads.

i use the free version of trillian 0.74 - works excellent. :)
