DRM got hacked
 

yes its true drm has been hacked, cant really provide to much details but i do have the files to crack the DRM protected files, except i cant understand them because its foriegn

been hacked for ever, is it DRM11 or what ever?

im not even sure but the 2 main folders are named drm2wmv1241 & drmdbg031

yeah thats old, its for DRM10, Which is not used as much anymore.. I think onionbooty still uses old drm which that works on but to my knowledge its pretty useless on most drm's

any idea how to use this? .... im just curious cause ive seen alot of fuss about DRM

Simple entries encoded / registry type entries 'hidden' inside the movie files which can be removed, simply need to find where they are.

Still a coin toss whether the general population will crack all of the movies or not.

well the porn sites that have streaming movies, you can just record the stream and it makes the whole DRM totally pointless but i guess its great for the p2p pirates

Always need to take into consideration what the general population and not the 31337 will do.

those who are hacking drm probably wouldn't even pay for a membership to begin with. I guess the best place to start off at would be good anti password cracking protection.

as far as i know there is a patch for the players now so you just allow the patched version to get a license and the problem is solved again..

Every Microsoft update will prevent old hacks from working, most likely, though anything not by Microsoft could be compromisable for past encoded files.

I just got a password trading forum shut down it had a whole section on cracking drm .

old news. (drmbg* etc don't work anymore... ms patched something)...

i remember reading something about drm being cracked, but it's not a easy process to do

You don't have to be so-called "elite" to hack them. So every stupid surfer would able to do so, if he has a right tool for that...

old. Im sure theyll find a hack for every drm.
